About Nathan LaChine
Nathan LaChine is a third-generation foster parent with over 20 years of experience providing therapeutic foster care to some of Washington State’s most vulnerable youth. His firsthand experience supporting young people with complex needs informs his work as a nationally recognized trainer, consultant, and internet safety expert.
For more than 25 years, Nathan has served as a volunteer and board member with the nonprofit MaleSurvivor, supporting male survivors of sexual abuse. He is also the founder of Evergreen Caregiver Support, an organization dedicated to strengthening caregivers through education, advocacy, and community-based resources.
Through his work, Nathan has developed and delivered professional trainings on topics including:
- Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC)
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
- Internet Safety & Digital Harm Reduction
- LGBTQIA+ / SOGIE-affirming practices
- Harm Reduction approaches for youth and families
