New project to increase placement resources

DCYF is working on a new project to increase the placement resources available to foster children when they are placed in care.

Dear Foster and Kinship Caregivers,

DCYF is working on a new project to increase the placement resources available to foster children when they are placed in care. We believe this will help children and youth to have access to placements options that are supported to meet their needs. You can learn more about the Foster Care Placement Project here.

We are holding two town hall sessions for foster parents and kinship caregivers to provide an overview of the project. Afterwards, participants who joined the Zoom meeting will receive a survey to provide feedback. Please join us on one of the following dates:

Monday, Feb. 22, 2021

5:30 p.m. to 6:30 PM

Passcode: 302851

Call in Number: 253-215-8782

*Webinar space is limited but the meetings will be recorded and shared*

Some of you might be getting multiple invites as we are meeting with many stakeholder groups (e.g. Regional 1624 groups and Child Placing Agencies). The information and discussion are the same at each meeting. If you are interested in joining the discussion and have multiple invites, you can pick a time that works best for you.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions about this webinar at [email protected].
